Qualifications
To qualify for voter registration in New York State you must:
- be a United States citizen;
- be 18 years old (you may pre-register at 16 or 17 but cannot vote until you are 18);
- resident of this state and the county, city or village for at least 30 days before the election;
- not be in prison for a felony conviction
- not be adjudged mentally incompetent by a court;
- not claim the right to vote elsewhere.

Registration Forms
Voter Registration Forms are available online:
Complete a PDF version of the New York State Voter Registration Form on-line or print the form and complete it by hand. Once completed, you must print, sign and date the form. (Digital or Adobe-generated signatures are not accepted). Forms can be returned in-person or by mail.

Students living and registering to vote on campus must include their mailbox number when they complete their voter registration form.

Change of Name and/or Address: The online registration portal or voter registration form can be used to change a name or address. In New York, notices of change of address from registered voters received at least 15 days before a special, primary or general election by a county board of elections must be processed and entered in the records in time for that election.

Voting on Campus
The Wyckoff Center (Case Center, second floor) will serve as the campus polling place from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Nov. 5.
- Students living in off-campus housing may find their poll site on the Saratoga County website.
- Students voting in another state may find more information about where to vote on the Vote.org website.
Please note: Only students who live on campus and are registered to vote in New York State may vote on campus.
